ABOUT USLinOldhamOffice is a progressive and emerging design collaborative established by Tiffany Lin and Mark Oldham. Our mutual interests, and passion for our work, lie at the intersection of equal commitment to research, professional practice, collaboration and dialogue. While there exists no particular “style” to our work, we believe in forward looking processes and a continuous search for fresh ideas that work for each client. By embracing the broad synthesis of design intent, client need, engineering discourse, and contractor experience, we seek to engage the process of design and construction with an open mind and commitment to successful invention.
Our philosophy of exploration and collaboration has lead to work ranging from domestic projects, institutional speculations, catalogs of vernacular architecture and modern translations. Our first project, the 8 Container Farmhouse, was awarded a 2005 Progressive Architecture Citation, and selected by the Architectural League of New York for inclusion in the 2005 Young Architects Forum.
